Gardner resident and World War I soldier, Leroy Hill was killed in battle on June 7, 1918; on a battlefield in France. He was 24 years of age. Please join the American Legion Leroy Hill Post 19 as we remember Leroy Hill and other local World War I veterans who fought in what is known as the “War to end all Wars” on the centennial of Leroy’s death.
